The Ladner Family

I headed out to High Park with the oh-so adorable Ladner family to catch some fall shots. How sweet is this baby? Seriously, who can resist this grin? We lucked out as the rain managed to hold off and we had some beautiful weather. Here are a few shots from the day!

James

I had a chance to shoot with one of my best friends,  James. It was fun to shoot together again, since the last sets of photos we took were over a decade ago and were on film! James has the most fantastic sense of humor and a lightning wit. He needed some headshots to help promote himself as a writer, so we wandered around the Artscape Wychwood Barns. You can check out his blog here. Hopefully I will get to do an engagement shoot soon as he has recently become engaged to his sweetie!

The DPRS

I had the pleasure of photographing The Davey Parker Radio Sound this summer, as they lit up the Horseshoe Tavern. They are an awesome band, and great guys- check them out on their website here. You can even download a copy of their album "In a Land of Wolves and Thieves".

J & J

I had so much fun doing this e-session with Jenna and Jonathan, they are such a fun couple! We took a stroll on Toronto's waterfront to catch the last of the daylight. They brought some mementos that were important to them- Jonathan had done some beautiful love letters in calligraphy for Jenna- so sweet. I love taking photos of couples so obviously smitten with each other. I wish them a long and happy life together~

What a Summer!

Holy smokes!! I can't believe how time has flown and here I am, 5 months without a blog post.
I have had a beautiful and busy summer, and hope you all had the same! Here is  my summer 2011 in a nutshell:

Gothic in the Park

It wasn't a very spring time theme to be sure, but as winter still has Toronto firm in it's grasp, a Gothic shoot in High Park seemed just the thing. Two models and a great mua later, we explored the park and captured some shots. I love the juxtaposition of the stark natural background against the models.

Bridal Shoot

I had the pleasure of working with the amazing Ms. Renae May of the Cabinet Salon again.
We had previously collaborated on the pinup pictures I had shot before. Renae was needing some new shots for her portfolio, as the upcoming bridal season is rapidly approaching.  We had some lovely models who braved the cold to pose for us, and the beautiful makeup was done by another talented professional, Kat of Vampfx.  If you are in need of Hair and Makeup for your wedding day, I highly reccomend these ladies. They are artists at the top of their craft, and sweet to boot. Here are some of my favorites from the day, along with some shots of the super cute Renae herself.
