Pin-up Shoot at the Beaches

This past Tuesday I had the opportunity to work with an amazing team, whom I had contacted on Model Mayhem. Everyone donated their time, energy and ideas to this project, and braved the Toronto heat and humidity to shoot at the Beaches. My Models were Karissa and Jeff, a talented model couple here in Toronto.

Karissa has a facial structure that most women would kill for, and while Jeff is new to modeling, one hardly notices. Both have massive natural talent. Hair was done by Renae May of  Mosheta Salon and Spa. She did a fantastic job of nailing exactly what we all had in mind. Makeup was done by Monika Kollar (website launching soon). Monika is incredible- try to pull of that makeup in 95% humidity! Again, perfection. I couldn't have dreamed up a better team! Karissa is a vintage lover, and both her and Jeff provided the wardrobe from their own closets. I loved the outfits they chose! The first look reminded me of 'Grease', the second set was straight from Mad Men- and the matching retro bathing suits were so perfect. Here are some of my fave shots of the day.
