I met with Anna last weekend- Anna is an Opera Singer who was looking to update her portfolio and website with some fresh shots. We were super happy that the great weather held out for us. Anna was a spectacular model to photograph, and these are some of my favorite shots I have ever taken, by far.

The Littlest Gentleman
Baby Jayden is almost one, and what a dapper little Gentleman he is!
His proud parents wanted to mark the occasion with a photo session. Even though he didn't want to smile for me, his Dad managed to tickle one out of him at the end, and it was worth waiting for :)
We managed to catch some good Fall weather as well, so we went to play in the leaves.
Happy Birthday Jayden!

Beau's Free Scholler Test
Recently my boyfriend Beau underwent his Free Scholler test at AEMMA for which he had trained for 6 months. You must demonstrate proficency in all weapons described in Fiore's treatise(s).
Aaron acted as his Zugadore, or his second.
In the first part of the test you must be able to demonstrate and fully explain each technique.
In the second part of the test you must fight all of the current free scholars, with whatever weapon they chose, until they were satisfied. Beau passed with flying colours, I am so proud :)
He was too tuckered to take part in the tournament afterwards, but his Zugadore Aaron went on to win a well fought victory! They stayed until the wee hours to celebrate. Here are some shots from the day.

Glamour in High Park
What a gorgeous autumn we have been having! Fall is my favorite season by far, and you can usually find me crunching leaves and stuffing my pockets full of fall colours :) When Elizabeth contacted me to help update her modeling portfolio, I knew we had to take advantage of the weather. So we packed up and headed over to High Park- and we weren't alone. Everybody and their DSLR were out to play. We picked out our own little spot and went to work- the shots turned out really great, and it was fun just to play in the leaves for a bit. We ended up with what looks like 2 completley different shoots.

Ms. Jessica
Had a super fun shoot with the ultra-fab Ms.Jessica the other day. Jess has a fun loving personality and the most fantastic laugh. We went to Queens Park and Kings College to try and create some interesting shots. Jess wanted something funky and a little edgy to reflect her personality, and I was happy to oblige.
Love this Girl!

Lovebirds
I had the pleasure of photographing Steven and Anneke's wedding recently.
It was my first wedding and I was so nervous!!
Luckily, everyone was so sweet. The mother of the bride is an amazing woman, and made me feel instantly at ease. (THANK YOU!)
The venue, the Argonaut Rowing club is right on the lake, and every bit of the rental proceeds goes towards the Disabled sailing association, a great cause. A wonderfully romantic location, right on the lake.
Anneke had THE PERFECT! gown, and looked absolutley stunning. The ceremony was lovely simplicity, performed by Helen Sweet of the Brides Project, another fantastic cause.

It is clear the two newlyweds have many friends and family who love them to bits, and everyone had an amazing time. I wish Anneke and Steven the very best in Life and Love.
